A World of Good
The greatest gift you can give is one to the campaign – Central’s greatest needs. Unrestricted annual support provides flexibility to Central to address arising needs in a timely way.
Student Scholarships
Scholarships are an impactful and immediate investment in our students. Every student at Central receives a $1,000 donor-funded Journey Scholarship. Students also receive support from our many endowed scholarships. These scholarships are fully-funded at $50k or more and last a lifetime. We need new support every year so 100% of our students can receive donor-funded scholarships!
Programs
If you love the visual and performing arts, student organizations, scholarships and more, all may be supported with annual gifts or gifts to the endowment, where dollars are invested and provide a steady stream of impact that lasts forever. Naming opportunities for funds, rooms and buildings are available for $50k or more.
Leave A Legacy
Central’s Leave A Legacy Challenge offers an impactful way to support future students through planned gifts. By documenting a planned gift, participants can unlock an immediate matching contribution, directing 10% of their gift’s estimated value (up to $10,000) to the scholarship, academic, athletics or campus program of their choice.
Funded by Rich ’62 and Mary Roorda Glendening ’62, Emily and Larry Reynen ’71 and the family of Terry Garvin ’72, these matching funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The challenge encourages new documented planned gifts, creating a lasting legacy that benefits Central students now and in the future.
Imagine More
The relationship between Central and the City of Pella is deeply rooted in history, with both growing and developing together since the college’s founding six years after Pella’s establishment. This partnership is reinforced by an impressive continuity of leadership — both at the college and within the community — leading to strong trust and shared commitment.
Because of this, Central’s strategic vision called Imagine More: It’s Central to Pella offers pathways to strengthen both the college and our home community of Pella through partnerships and collaborations across many pillars. These pillars include emphases on workforce, community engagement, business development, education, philanthropy and housing.
Pella’s downtown, businesses and industries are thriving. Central is incredibly fortunate to be located in such an amazing community and we can help advance and animate progress going forward. Vibrant living opportunities and investment in the visual and performing arts, recreation and academic programming are possible and make us all stronger.
